It’s an extension. Assuming it came from a friend of the vehicle’s owner that worked on it. It fell through an access hole, never to be seen again until today

Busted engine. Guy ran it like crap broke a cylinder rod cracked the block. Total engine replacement. Guy drove it out maybe 5 mins later, calls back saying that the trans blew. Comes back in talks to the front guy that he has trouble getting higher than 4th and it was grinding a bit. Broke the transmission. Needed that replaced too. Had to take the engine back out and do it all over again. So much fun that week

Catfish Camaro rolled in, I was like WTF is this. We don’t work on this kind of BS. It’s been sitting for at least a year and had EMUSA parts all over it. I offered to remove their janky turbo system and get the LS1 running again.

I dont know what nastiness was put into the ac system, but the high side cap was missing so I assume he at least tried to put it in the right place haha.

From what I saw it was a combination of [equipment failure and human error]. He had the vehicle really far back on the lift and had the lift arm fully extended putting a lot of leverage on that pin. But the truck was still within the weight limits of the rack.
